Jr. CYO Basketball League – Region 17 CYO Basketball

THE REGION 17 JUNIOR CYO LEAGUE IS BACK FOR THE 2025-26 SEASON! With over 400 participants in the 24-25 season (40+ teams), Region 17 is prepping for another amazing campaign! Traditionally, CYO Basketball has only been available for our 5th-8th grade students/parishioners. With this new developmental program, we will have the opportunity to have our 3rd/4th grade boys and girls wearing their CYO colors and competing proudly even earlier!

REGISTRATION will be open from 8/15-10/12. HOWEVER, pending registration traction/popularity and the various parish-by-parish gym time/space limitation, we reserve the right to close registration at an earlier date if needed. Last year we had to move to a "By Availability Only" format where prospective players would email us about their parishes availability. Please try to register at your earliest convenience.

Will the League be Co-Ed?

No! We are hoping to have at least 1-2 team for boys and 1-2 team for girls per parish.

If we don't get enough players, will I get a refund?

YES. A full refund will be issued in the event of your program not being able to operate.

How many players will be on each team?

Ideally, we will target 10-12 players per team. However, as registration continues, certain genders/age/parishes may have to make some adjustments.
